Kalispell, MT, 1 October 2015 — Jim Cossitt is slated to be a featured speaker at the 34th Annual Bankruptcy Conference of the Iowa Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
Jim Cossitt will speak on the topic, “Ethical Considerations with Social Media”, on Thursday, October 29, 2015, and address the dos and don’ts for lawyers’ use of social media for advertising, research on opposing parties and related issues. He will also address what happens to social media accounts when a bankruptcy case is filed, who owns the accounts and has access to the accounts and the content and the extent to which a trustee can use, sell or otherwise administer social media accounts.
The Conference will be held on Thursday and Friday October 29 and 30, 2015, at the Embassy Suites Hotel Des Moines Downtown in downtown Des Moines, Iowa.
